Get corporate quotes →Kartworld at Burscough — which also trades as Indoor Super Karting — is a substantial indoor circuit on the Guys Industrial Estate, between Ormskirk and Southport. At over 650 metres it is one of the larger indoor tracks in the North West.
The circuit runs to over 650 metres with two flyovers, dedicated overtaking points, straights, bends and a hairpin. The venue says the layout was designed by British Touring Car Championship racers and technicians, and quotes a top speed of up to 40mph.
Two flyovers on a single indoor lap is unusual — most indoor tracks manage one at best — and it means a meaningful part of the lap involves changing level rather than running flat.
The venue does not publish minimum ages or heights, so check directly before booking for children.
Formats run from arrive-and-drive through to endurance and Grand Prix events, so it handles both a casual visit and an organised group day. Race wear, helmets and a safety briefing are provided.
You will find it at Unit 2, Kestrel Place, Guys Industrial Estate South, Burscough L40 8AB. Phone 01704 896633.
It is open seven days a week — midday to 10pm on weekdays and 9am to 10pm at weekends, which is longer than most venues manage. There is a retail park about 100 yards away if you need to fill time before or after a session. Prices were not published in full at the time of writing beyond gift vouchers.
