What GoKartingUK Is
GoKartingUK.com is an independent, editorially managed directory of go karting venues across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. We list every meaningful public karting venue in the UK — from major chains like TeamSport, Daytona and Karting Nation, to independent outdoor circuits and local leisure tracks.
We are not affiliated with any venue, chain or booking platform. No track pays to appear in our listings, and no listing is ever bumped up or down in exchange for commercial arrangements. Our only goal is to help people find the right venue for their situation — whether that's a family day out, a stag do, a corporate event, or a competitive racing session.
How We Collect Track Data
Every venue in our directory has been individually researched. Our data for each track includes:
- Location and contact details — verified against official venue websites and Google Business Profiles
- Track specifications — circuit length, indoor or outdoor, kart type (electric or petrol), minimum age and height requirements
- Session types — arrive & drive, corporate events, birthday packages, competitive racing
- Facilities — food and drink availability, briefing areas, spectator facilities
- Google ratings — aggregate star ratings and review counts sourced via the Google Places API, with review quotes from verified Google reviewers
- Geographic data — GPS coordinates for accurate distance calculations and embedded maps
Track data was last comprehensively updated in April 2026. We review and refresh listings on an ongoing basis; if you spot an error or a venue has closed, please let us know.
Our Editorial Approach
Every track page contains original written content about the venue — not scraped text or manufacturer descriptions. Our track descriptions cover what the venue is actually like to drive, who it suits, and what to expect on arrival. We write separately about the circuit itself, the driving experience, group and event suitability, and practical visit information.
Our editorial guides cover broader topics — go karting with children, stag and corporate events, the difference between indoor and outdoor venues, and how to drive faster on track. These are written to be genuinely useful, not to rank for keywords at the expense of accuracy.

Why Go Karting?
Go karting is one of the most accessible motorsport activities in the world — and the UK has one of the strongest karting scenes outside of mainland Europe. It's where Lewis Hamilton, Jenson Button and Lando Norris all began their racing careers. But you do not need to have any ambitions beyond an enjoyable afternoon to get a great deal from it.
At its most recreational level, karting is simply one of the best active group activities available. It's competitive, physical, requires genuine skill, and produces a natural adrenaline response that passive activities cannot replicate. For stag dos, corporate team days, birthday parties and family outings, it consistently outperforms most alternatives on enjoyment per pound spent.
At its more serious end — outdoor circuits, petrol karts, championship formats — UK karting is a genuinely demanding motorsport. The gap between a casual driver and someone who has put in a few months of regular practice is substantial and measurable. That learning curve is part of what makes it compelling.
Editorial Independence
GoKartingUK.com is operated independently. We are not owned by, invested in, or commercially linked to any karting venue, chain or booking platform. Our listings are provided as a free public resource. We do not accept payment for featured placement, sponsored reviews, or any commercial arrangement that would influence how venues are presented.
If a venue has closed, changed ownership, or contains incorrect information in our directory, we want to know. Use the contact page to report anything that needs updating.
