Adrenalin Quarry

About Adrenalin Quarry

Adrenalin Quarry, which we previously listed as Kartworld Cornwall, is at Menheniot near Liskeard, in a flooded former slate quarry that has been turned into an adventure park. The setting is the point — you are karting in a quarry, with zip wires running over the water alongside.

The Circuit

The track runs to 800 metres outdoors and is described as all-weather, so a Cornish shower will not end your session. That is a long outdoor lap by leisure-karting standards, roughly comparable to the bigger circuits elsewhere in the country.

Kart specifications and top speeds were not published at the time of writing, so we have not listed any.

Who Should Visit

Adult karts are for drivers aged 16 and over, youth karts for 10 to 15, and junior karts for 7 to 9, with a minimum height of 1.25 metres. Bambini electric karts run on a separate 80m track for children aged 3 to 6.

Because the karting is part of Adrenalin Quarry rather than standalone, it suits families and groups wanting a day out with several activities — the site also runs zip wires, coasteering and other attractions. For Cornwall, where organised karting is thin on the ground, it is one of the main options alongside St Eval.
