About Gridline Racing

Gridline Racing is an indoor circuit on Dunford Road off Canwick Road, about ten minutes from Lincoln city centre. It describes itself as the largest indoor karting centre in Lincolnshire, and it opened a new circuit on 1 May 2026 — so what you race today is not what earlier reviews describe.

The Circuit

The new circuit runs to 450 metres across multiple levels. Kart specifications and top speeds were not published at the time of writing, so we have not listed any.

What Gridline does publish, unusually, is a set of lap-time standards. That tells you more about the track than a spec sheet would: cadets need a sub-38 second lap and adults a sub-36 to qualify for Monday Superpole, with sub-34 required for the Tuesday Elite session.

Who Should Visit

Cadets race from 8 to 13 and adults from 14.

The structure here is what sets it apart. Alongside timed practice, family sessions, birthday parties and group events, there is a genuine competitive ladder: Monday Superpole as a development stage and Tuesday Elite Superpole for the fastest drivers, each with published qualifying times. If you want somewhere to get measurably quicker rather than just have a go, that progression is rare at an indoor venue.

Planning Your Visit

The centre is at Dunford Road, off Canwick Road, Lincoln LN5 8HF. Phone 01522 539915 or email info@gridlineracing.com.

Opening hours are Monday to Friday 11:30am to 10pm and Saturday to Sunday 9:30am to 10pm. Head cam rental is available if you want footage of your session, and there is a 3D facility tour on the website. Prices are published on the venue's own price list.
