About M4 Karting

M4 Karting operates from Hangar 88 on the old Hullavington airfield, between Chippenham and Malmesbury and a couple of minutes from junction 17 of the M4. It describes itself as the South West's premier indoor motorsport venue.

It matters more than its size suggests: Wiltshire has very little indoor karting, so for Chippenham, Swindon, Bath and the whole M4 corridor through the county this is the nearest indoor option.

The Circuit

The circuit runs to 550 metres indoors, inside a former aircraft hangar — which is why the roof is so high and the space so open compared with a typical industrial-unit track. M4 Karting does not publish kart specifications or a top speed, so we have not listed either.

A hangar gives a track designer far more room than a standard warehouse, and at 550 metres this is a generous indoor lap by UK standards.

Who Should Visit

The venue does not publish minimum ages or heights on its site, so check directly before booking for children.

Online registration is required before you race, so allow time for that rather than arriving expecting to sign in on paper. The venue caters for adult karting, group bookings and corporate events.
