Tockwith Karting runs on Tockwith Airfield, west of York and roughly between York, Wetherby and Harrogate. The site has genuine motorsport history: the circuit was originally used as the Ginetta racing test track, which is not a bad pedigree for an outdoor kart venue.

The Circuit

This is an outdoor airfield circuit. Tockwith does not publish a track length or kart specification on its site, so we have not listed either — ask when you book if you need the figures. Being on an old airfield, expect the open, exposed character that comes with it rather than the tight confines of an indoor track.

Who Should Visit

The venue does not publish minimum ages or heights, so check directly before booking for children.

It is well set up for groups: alongside standard sessions, Mondays and later evening slots are made available for groups of 30 drivers, which suits a company day or a large private booking better than most venues can manage.
