Drivers aged 8–13 (minimum height 1.25m / 4ft 2in) can begin with the Junior Race School, where experienced instructors teach kart control, racing lines, braking, cornering, overtaking and track safety in a structured, enjoyable environment. After successfully completing two Race School sessions, junior drivers can progress to the Family Karting Sessions (normally age 10+).

Family Race Experience (Ages 10+)

The Family Race Experience Sessions are open to drivers aged 10 and over and are one of the venue's most popular race formats. Drivers aged 10–16 can take part either on their own with other junior drivers or alongside parents, grandparents and other adult family members, making these sessions ideal for family days out, birthday celebrations and mixed-age groups. Every session is professionally supervised, fully timed and designed to provide a safe, exciting and enjoyable racing experience for drivers of all abilities.

Teenagers and Adults

Drivers aged 14+ can also enjoy dedicated Senior Race Experience Sessions, where all participants are aged 14 or over.

For those looking for a more competitive experience, GP Race Events are available for drivers aged 16+. These events recreate a real motorsport race day and include:

Planning Your Visit

Xtreme Karting Falkirk is located at Lochlands Business Park, Larbert, Falkirk, FK5 3NS, just minutes from the M876, with excellent links to the M9 and M80, making it easily accessible from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling and across Central Scotland. Larbert railway station is also nearby, making the venue easy to reach by public transport.

All karting activities must be booked online, with payment taken at the time of booking. Bookings can be cancelled for a full refund up to 24 hours before the scheduled session, giving you flexibility if your plans change.

All drivers are required to wear a hygiene pack, which includes a balaclava to wear beneath the helmet for comfort and hygiene. Hygiene packs can be pre-ordered online for £4 or purchased on arrival for £5, and can be kept and reused on future visits.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your session to allow plenty of time for check-in, collecting race equipment and attending the mandatory safety briefing. Late arrivals may miss part of their session or, in some circumstances, may be unable to take part.

The venue offers free on-site parking, a comfortable spectator viewing area overlooking the circuit, free Wi-Fi, and a range of hot and cold drinks and snacks available to purchase. Friends and family are welcome to watch from the viewing area, making it an enjoyable visit even for non-drivers.
