About Smart Kart Raceway

Smart Kart Raceway is an outdoor circuit and activity centre at Bogton Farm, Lhanbryde, just east of Elgin in Moray. It pairs karting with a spread of other activities, which makes it a practical choice for a group where not everyone wants to drive.

The Circuit

The circuit runs to 500 metres outdoors and is floodlit and all-weather, so it is not a summer-only venue — useful this far north, where daylight is short through the winter. The venue does not publish kart specifications, so we have not listed any; ask when you book if that matters for your group.

Drivers get a printout with lap times and analytics after their session, which is a nice touch and settles arguments.

Who Should Visit

Karting runs as arrive-and-drive sessions and Grand Prix formats. The venue does not publish minimum ages or heights, so check directly before booking for children.

The wider activity list is the real draw for groups: laser tag, laser clay shooting, axe throwing and mini tanks alongside the karting. Stag and hen groups, birthdays and corporate bookings are all catered for.
