Get party quotes →This is TeamSport's second Glasgow venue, on John Knox Street in Clydebank, west of the city — the other former ScotKart site. Unlike its Cambuslang sister track, Clydebank has been converted to a 400m electric circuit, so it is quieter and fume-free while still running at a decent pace. It is a slightly shorter and, by the site's own rating, more demanding layout than Cambuslang, and it holds a solid Google score across well over 1,000 reviews. If you are choosing between the two Glasgow tracks, the short version is: Cambuslang for a longer petrol circuit near the city centre, Clydebank for a technical electric one out west.
The 400m track is multi-level and more technical than its length suggests. Independent listings describe a flyover, banked corners and a tunnel section linking a run of tight hairpins, so it packs a lot of direction change into a compact footprint. The electric karts give smooth, immediate power with no gears to manage, which suits a circuit that is more about placing the kart accurately than hanging on down a long straight. That is why it is rated intermediate rather than beginner: newcomers can still enjoy it, but a driver with a few sessions behind them will get the most from the tighter sequences.
Clydebank works well for groups, birthdays and corporate days, and it is a good pick for anyone who prefers the cleaner, quieter feel of electric karts. Karting is from age 8, with cadet and adult karts to suit mixed groups. As at Cambuslang, there is an on-site Laser Combat arena — a "Back Yard Devastation" themed course taking up to 20 players — which makes it easy to build a party around more than just the track, and gives younger children under the karting age something to do. No experience or kit is required; helmets and suits are provided.
TeamSport Glasgow Clydebank is at 25 John Knox Street, Clydebank, Glasgow G81 1NA, with free on-site parking including disabled bays. It is well served by public transport for a Glasgow venue: Yoker station is about a 10-minute walk and Clydebank station roughly 13 minutes, with the 11, M11 and N6 buses stopping nearby.
Food, drinks and spectator areas are on site. Note the venue is only partially wheelchair accessible, on the lower level, so contact the team ahead if that matters for your group. Pricing is mid-range and TeamSport usually run an online advance-booking discount. Weekend and party slots are the first to go, so reserve ahead and confirm current session times, prices and any laser combat add-on before you travel.
Drivers need to be at least 8+ to race at TeamSport Glasgow Clydebank. A minimum height of 140cm also applies — please check before booking with younger visitors.
