Teamworks Karting Birmingham West is on Dudley Road in Halesowen, out towards the Black Country and easier to reach by car than the group's city-centre site. Its distinguishing feature is vertical: the venue describes it as a two-level kart circuit, so the lap involves climbing and dropping rather than running flat.
The circuit is 400m and runs across two levels indoors, with 200cc karts for adults and 160cc cadet karts for juniors. A two-level indoor layout changes how a lap rewards you — carrying speed down and getting the power on early out of a climb matters as much as the racing line, and it makes for a more interesting circuit than a flat leisure track.
Karting starts at age 8 with a 125cm minimum height, which is the more typical indoor threshold and noticeably more accommodating than the group's city-centre venue. Juniors race the 160cc cadet karts, adults get the 200cc machines. Drivers under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult aged 18 or over.
This is a karting-only site — no laser tag and no simulators — so the whole visit is built around the two-level circuit. Stag and hen parties, children's parties and corporate bookings are all catered for.
The venue is at 225 Dudley Road, Halesowen B63 3NR, with on-site parking. There is a bar and cafe, plus conference facilities and catering for company bookings.
Teamworks advertises a standing karting deal at £38, and formats across the group include Karting 30, Grand Prix for groups of 10 or more, Cadet Club on Sundays for under-16s, and team endurance racing for larger groups. Confirm which formats run at this venue and current prices when booking.
