Teamworks Karting Letchworth is on Pixmore Avenue in Letchworth Garden City, and describes itself as the best indoor karting in Hertfordshire. It is one of six venues in the Teamworks group, combining indoor karting with a laser tag arena and racing simulators on the same site. For north Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and the Stevenage and Hitchin area it is the closest indoor circuit of its type.
The circuit is 550m, indoors, and runs an electric fleet. At the same length as Birmingham City it is the longest of the six Teamworks tracks, which gives a lap more room to develop than the group’s 400m circuits. What is published is the entry requirement: age 8 and a minimum height of 125cm, which is the standard indoor threshold.
Karting runs from age 8 with a 125cm minimum height, and any driver under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult aged 18 or over. Laser tag and the simulators start at age 6, and children under 12 need adult supervision for those activities.
That spread makes it a practical choice for a family with children of different ages, or a group where not everyone wants to race. The venue caters for children's parties, stag and hen groups and corporate bookings.
The venue is at 2 Pixmore Avenue, Letchworth Garden City SG6 1JS, with on-site parking. There is a cafe, plus conference facilities and catering for company events.
Teamworks advertises a standing karting offer at £38 across the group. Formats include Karting 30, Grand Prix for groups of 10 or more, Cadet Club on Sundays for under-16s, and team endurance racing for larger groups — confirm which run at Letchworth and at what price when you book.
Karting is from age 8 with a minimum height of 125cm. Drivers under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult aged 18 or over. Laser tag and the simulators are from age 6, with adult supervision needed for under-12s.
The circuit is 550m, confirmed by Teamworks — the longest in the group alongside Birmingham City — and runs an electric fleet indoors.
Alongside karting the venue has a laser tag arena and racing simulators, both from age 6, plus a cafe and conference facilities.
The venue lists children’s parties among its offering, along with stag and hen bookings and corporate events. Karting is from age 8, and younger children can use laser tag or the simulators from age 6.
Teamworks runs six indoor sites across England. If this one is not convenient, these are the alternatives — the other five sites in the group.
