Teamworks Karting East Midlands is at Huthwaite, just off the M1 near Sutton-in-Ashfield, which puts it within easy reach of Mansfield, Chesterfield and the north Nottinghamshire towns. Like the rest of the group it combines indoor karting with a laser tag arena and racing simulators under one roof.

The Circuit

The venue runs 200cc indoor karts which it quotes at up to 40mph — quick enough to feel genuinely fast in an enclosed space, where speed reads higher than the same number would outdoors. Cadet karts are available for junior drivers. Teamworks does not publish a track length for this site, so we have not listed one.

Who Should Visit

Karting is open from age 8 with a 125cm minimum height, and drivers under 16 need a responsible adult aged 18 or over with them. Juniors run cadet karts while adults take the 200cc machines, so a mixed-age group can be accommodated in appropriate equipment.

Laser tag and simulators are available from age 6, which extends the venue's range down to younger children who cannot yet drive. Children's parties, stag and hen groups and corporate days are all catered for.
