The Circuit

Racing here is on OTL Storm electric karts. The adult machines are rated at around 20bhp and reach roughly 45mph (about 72kph), which is properly fast for an indoor floor, while the junior karts are speed-limited to somewhere near 20mph. Because the power is electric, drive arrives the instant you touch the pedal, so corner exits reward smoothness rather than revs — get on the throttle cleanly and the kart simply goes. As a safety measure the marshals can slow or stop any kart remotely from race control, which keeps mixed-ability grids sensible without a marshal having to physically reach a spun car.

Who Should Visit

The set-up here works best for adults and confident teenagers. Adult karts require drivers to be 14 or over and at least 145cm (4ft 9in) tall; there is a separate junior category for ages 7 to 13 who measure at least 125cm (4ft 1in), with junior races finishing by late afternoon each day. If you're bringing very young children, check the height rule carefully before booking.
